Why a carpet steam cleaner?
Several years ago after hosting a holiday get together at our house we noticed our carpeting and area rugs took quite a bit of abuse from the one days events.
Snowy foot prints early in the day quickly turned to muddy footprints in the late afternoon.
And, by the time the day was over, our carpeting was a mess.

Well, to make a long story short, we chose a Bissell unit and it worked wonderfully.
We got several years of use out of the machine, until we borrowed it out to one of our friends.The last I heard, it was getting fixed and we would get it back soon. That was a while ago and have yet to see the machine.
